I am playing at a goth/industrial Halloween party in a couple of weeks. Since I don’t play at goth/industrial parties so often, I emailed the rest of the DJs there with a demo and asked them what I though… As I usually do in my mixes, I cut a lot of the songs short (this is 18 tracks in 45 minutes). I have one of those phones that has a full keyboard and email capabilities. I also have an iPod. The three of us spend a lot of quality time on the metro together, where I make on-the-go playlists and email myself with ideas to use for mixes. Here are some of the ideas, direct copy/paste from my running list. I set up a gmail filter so everything with the subject “mix idea” goes directly into the list.
