Turntablist Cover Band
Another idea that will never see the light of day…
I really want to start a turntablist cover band. Here’s how it would work: take popular songs and get the individual instruments and vocals on separate tracks, throw on Serato, and play them as covers. It would be totally awesome.
Funny that you mention the turntablist cover band idea. I was thinking about doing something similiar. I planned on doing cover versions of Hip Hop songs. I was going to find the original samples and then scratch them. I wanted to mimic the sampled song. This was going to be my first cover tune:
