About me: I’m twenty-three years old and live in Washington, DC. By day, I work for a non-profit organization. By night, I try to be a DJ.
This is my all-purpose DJ bio:
Dan Amitai started DJing at the UMD college radio station under the name Smooth Henry. He uses turntables, CD players and laptops to mix dance music spanning many genres, with emphasis on house music. He played all over the DC area, including Black Cat, Edge, Rock and Roll Hotel, Home/Ultrabar, and Club Five.
Dan is a member of the Freeform DJ Collective, and hosts Beyond, a weekly downtempo and dubstep night in Dupont Circle.
