107.3 FM is a radio station here in DC that plays “the best mix of ’80s, ’90s and today” (well, now their tag is “the best mix of EVERYTHING”, which is bullshit, but never mind that). I named this mix after that station. The station sucks but my mix really is ’80s, ’90s and today! It is a re-recording of a set I played at the final Terrordome party last weekend (RIP).
I have used some of these tracks in previous mixes posted here.

This is a mix I recorded for my friend who has been helping the DC–SDS organize anti-war dance parties in the streets of Washington.
A couple of things you should know:
1. Ninety percent of the tracks in this mix were selected by DC-SDS members. I picked a few that I just couldn’t not play (Michael Jackson)
2. I recorded this without practicing bc I am a busy man!
ANYWAY HERE IS THE TRACK LIST Continue Reading »

This was originally a mix I made for my girlfriend but I kept changing it as I recorded… Took tracks out, added others, and now it’s something totally different. Anyway, this is the
winter mix. A short mix for what will hopefully be a short winter.
Very minimal mixing in this one. A lot of just fadein-fadeouts. Easy!

A rough draft of my spring summer mix. I will re-record based on the solicited feedback. As usual, this was done live in one take, and the trainwrecks are plentiful. But I’m not afraid of PUTTING MYSELF OUT THERE

I’ve been working on this for a little bit. I’ll probably incorporate it into my next mix. This is a rough draft–the levels are off as usual, but you get the idea.
Recorded live using Serato, except for the “freeform djs” thing to the beginning (added later with Adobe Audition).
Sources:
Intro = Biz Markie on Len’s “Beautiful Day”
- the first verse is Bran Van 3000′s “Old School”. The “my special moment to shine in the spotlight” is from the same track.
- The song played over the rest of the routine is “One Man Army” by Prodigy and Tom Morello
- “What? I’ve been using my Technics” = Charizma & Peanut Butter Wolf’s “Soon To Be Large”
- “I gots lots of cash stashed in money bags” = someone from LBC Crew on Snoop Doggy Dogg’s “Gold Rush”
- “Need to book a flight tonight” = Prince Paul, as sampled by the Avalanches in “Flight Tonight”
Yep…
